Aston-Le-Walls (4) Horse Trials consisted of four days of action with 25 sections from BE90 up to Advanced. Previously, two additional days of action had been added under Aston-Le-Walls (X) to accommodate for the number of competitors wishing to compete. On my arrival on the Thursday, the temperature had dropped by 10 degrees, from the early 30s to the more comfortable late teens.

 

However, two hours of thunderstorms bought torrential rain from 1pm to 3pm. The Advanced riders carried on regardless.

 

The next day, the ground had stood up remarkably well, a great testament to the team at Aston-Le-Walls.

 

We covered 9 hours of cross country for all 4 days and have ended up with some amazing images.
